The National Association of Medical Examiners (NAME) holds an annual conference in the USA during which the latest research finding in forensic medicine are presented and shared. This year the meeting takes place in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, at the Westin Charlotte. The conference runs from 2 to 6 October 2015.
Lodox Systems is a proud sponsor of this conference, and is a Platinum Level Partner this year. We are also sponsoring the 18th Annual Rigor Run/Walk. Visit the Lodox exhibit at Booths 206/208 (view a plan of the exhibit area on page 28 in this programme PDF).
On Monday, 5 October, Kyla Jorgenson will present a paper entitled “Benefits of Utilizing Full-Body Digital Radiography in Forensic Pathology”. Her talk is in Session 6 in the Grand Ballroom D, Level 2, from 14h15 – 14h30. Be sure not to miss her presentation: her findings show that a Lodox full-body scanner produces an 87% time saving over conventional radiography in a mortuary. The full paper was published in the September 2015 issue of the Academic Forensic Pathology Journal.
